Techy or technophobe?

Mapping attitudes of clients and professionals towards using technology in mental healthcare.

An increasing amount of apps, websites and other applications are being developed for mental health care. These applications can, for example, help clients become more self-sufficient and allow for a more meaningful use of time in between session. Gaining additional insight into perceived barriers and facilitators for using technological applications, will allow for the adaptation to the needs of all involved and increase the everyday usage of these tools.

To help facilitate this process, the Expertise Unit Psychology, Technology and Society developed the Flemish UTAUT-questionnaires, which are freely available for both clients and professionals, currently however only in Dutch.
