Expertise

Frederica Martijn is Research Master Clinical and Developmental Psychopathology (VU, 2019), Master Klinische Forensische Psychologie (UvA, 2019) en Master Klinische Psychologie (Universiteit Leiden, 2019). Ze komt uit Amsterdam. Vanaf 2019 werkte zij als ambulant forensisch psycholoog met personen die seksueel grensoverschrijdend en/of anderszins delinquent verdrag hadden vertoond bij de Waag in Den Haag. Sinds 2020 is zij werkzaam als lector en onderzoeker binnen de expertisecel Toegepaste Forensische Psychologie aan de Thomas More Hogeschool. Zij doceert het opleidingsonderdeel Forensic Psychology, mede-coördineert het Postgraduaat Forensische Psychodiagnostiek en Counseling en superviseert studenten Toegepaste Psychologie bij hun bachelorproef. Zij heeft o.a. in Canada onderzoek gedaan naar romantische gevoelens bij mensen met pedohebefilie en seksueel delict gedrag van adolescenten binnen en buiten hun gezin. Frederica’s onderzoek heeft betrekking op seksuele non-normativiteit, (seksueel) grensoverschrijdend gedrag en intrafamiliair geweld.
