Helena Verhelle

Expertise

Helena Verhelle holds a MSc in Criminology and a bachelor’s degree in applied psychology. She works as a researcher at the Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, where she works closely with Tine Vertommen on the topic violence against child athletes. Helena was involved in the Erasmus+ project i-Protect. Before she started at Thomas More University, she has worked at a Forensic Psychiatric Treatment Centre as a therapeutic counsellor.
